This summer, a group of us (adults and teens) are interested in renting a home for a week in Michigan on (or near) the lake. If you have any suggestions of where to stay, say a "few" hours drive from Chicago, I'd appreciate the tip.
I've never been to MI so I have no idea which towns provide the most local interest and natural beauty. We plan to just laze about, hike around, and generally see what there is to see.
Personally, I'm looking forward to watching the sun set over Lake Michigan.
